METHOD OF RECEPTION OF NEW MEMBERS
When the invitation to discipleship is extended at any worship service, a person may present himself for membership to the church. The individual is voted into membership based on one of the four categories listed below. All new members are asked to attend three consecutive new members’ classes. These classes are held on Thursday nights, after Prayer Service, from approximately 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Candidate for Baptism
Those to express faith in Jesus Christ for the first time or those who are not baptized by total immersion in water are accepted for membership as a candidate for baptism.
Letter
Any person presenting or promising to obtain a letter of recommendation from another church that baptizes by total immersion may become a member of this church
Christian Experience
Any person who has been baptized and desires to unite with this church will state his previous church affiliation.
Restoration
Any person who had been a member of this church, baptized and has not been fellowshipping with the church, but now desires to restore that fellowship.
